rainfall shower hot item
i stayed in the executive double room for two nights the room featured a modern bathroom with a rainfall shower the minibar included complimentary soft drinks and snacks. breakfast offered a varied selection of hot and cold items the coffee machine made good cappuccinos.
the tv remote did not initially work i needed to call reception for assistance.

Really good Stay
friendly staff clean room king size bed free water
I found the staff to be friendly, and the room was very clean. A king sized bed provided ample space. The mini fridge included free water and milk. This was a nice touch. The room was also quiet.
The hall carpets had some slight stains.

excellent facilities and friendly staff
great decor clean room relaxing fun
the room decor was great it was also clean i also liked the size of the room the bathroom products were of highest quality i found this a lovely bonus. the bar area is nice it provided some relaxing fun with games.
i found that the room did not have air-conditioning installed i know this can be difficult to install in an old building so it made me a little uncomfortable

the staff were impeccably dressed and well mannered the staff ensured our stay was a good one the staff are very friendly and efficient i would highly recommend this hotel.

the room was beautifully presented and well equipped it also featured a very comfortable main bed there were white company products provided in the bathroom i found this a nice touch of luxury.

Really good Stay!
central location useful air conditioning welcome detail efficient service
The location was convenient. I found myself within easy walking distance of the city center. The room included air conditioning, very useful, and a refrigerator. Fresh milk was supplied instead of those small tubs, a welcome detail. I particularly appreciated the service. All requests were handled promptly and efficiently.
I found that some areas could use a little updating.

The hotel provided a well-equipped gym, with three treadmills, two stationary bikes, and a selection of free weights. The garden included a nice separate smoking area and offered quiet relaxation spots. The reception area was really cool, with a relaxed space for enjoying drinks.

The breakfast service was amazing, and the menu offered a diverse array of choices. The hot breakfast was table service, a feature I really appreciated. The chef deserves praise for the great meals. The steak was AMAZING!!!

The staff was fantastic and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. One lady on reception helped book tickets to the Jorvik Centre. Jess looked after us very well, and her service was very nice and efficient. Thank you to all the team!!!

dirty bed disgusting toilet door
The room had a good selection of teabags, mugs, and a kettle. Fresh milk and spring water were also in the minifridge.
Our room was disappointing. The bed clearly had not been changed after the previous guest and the toilet door was disgusting. I expected much more from a 4-star hotel.

mold in shower cleaning standards
The hotel's location provided convenient access to nearby attractions.
The bathroom cleanliness was definitely lacking. I noticed some mold in the shower and the overall condition made me question the cleaning standards.
